Sunday Up West

Went to play at the park up in Alberton for a few hours before we visited gramma and Dale.  They got to play with Avery and Aubrey as well.  (Brianna and Bailey were already at a playmate!)

This Weekend

Sam has just gotten Tom's old runner bike.  He is just starting to figure it out!!

The boys really liked the sun shirts that mama brought home from France.  They all put on shorts and ran around in the 18 degree weather!!  It was mama's one warm day before the rain started here!!

Brandi is home with her baby and Matt is having a great little visit with him!! It was not so long ago that Matt sat on that deck as the baby!! Time flies!  The MacNeills.

While Mama was Gone!

While mama was in France visiting Heidi, papa did not take too many pictures.  Here is one proving the great weather they had !! 

 I think papa wanted to make sure mama came back home.  He has gotten really good at making german pretzels... for a guy that does not bake, I think he tried the hardest thing!! They are delicious too!! Thank you papa!!

Jacquie and Dave came over to babysit on friday while mama was flying home and papa was at work.  Thank you guys, the kids are still talking about you!!  The MacNeills

Back in France!

On the way home to Biscarrosse, we stopped in Dax for some play and touring.  

The kids then slept the rest of the way!!!

Opa's Birthday was celebrated in France as well!! Even made a cake for him!

This was about an hour of sun in Heidi's backyard on thursday night before I left!! Suddenly it was warm!! 

An amazing french supper that lasts about 3 hours as service may not be the forte of the french people.  The food however was worth the wait.  My duck breast was so good and everyone was pleased.  Heidi had the cheese platter for dessert... LOTS to choose from!

One week flew by and the Friday (April 20th) was a sad day for mama and Tante Heidi.  By the time I got home the next day, I was very excited to get a ton of hugs from all of my boys.  I did however miss them a lot too.  Thank you again Heidi and Paul for everything!! Helga

Second Day in St Sebastien

 What a beautiful town this is.  I love the bread sticks that the kids simply adore!!

 Lots of running between thunder storms but what fun we had!!

 Tapas are the different sandwiches that you select like a buffet for lunch.  If you can dream up a type of sandwich on a slice of baguette, then you can probably find it somewhere in St Sebastien!! They were so good, lots of seafood too!! My Favorite!!  (Note Sangria on the side is pretty good too!!)

 We did walk on the beach and then later went for a really nice walk around the peninsula along the rocky shore too.  It was again, a most wonderful day.  Thanks again guys!! This is a real treat for me!!

Mama Visits the Piovosos in France and Spain

This is my first day in St Sebastien , Spain with the Piovoso Family.  Yes there was rain but we went to the Cider House for the most amazing meal.  We ate fresh bread, cod omelettes (well one huge one that everyone shares), pan fried cod with peppers, the best thick rare steak , cheeses and desserts... burp!!  Thank you guys for the yummy meal.  Jane Ellen and her brother seemed to have fun in the big hall as well. The kids are pretty patient while we watched a soccer game in the rain  while we waited the 1.5 hours for "Saizar's to open for lunch!!   

We also got to walk around the city and Heidi and I managed a run before bed once the littles ones were tucked in.  Yes, Helga found her diet pepsi in Spain too!! Sad really!!!
